Amberjack (Seriola rivoliana) Nursery Fingerling Production, Year 01
July 1, 2002
The goal of this project is to increase the density and efficiency of greater amberjack fingerling production to meet demands for growout operations (offshore and on-shore) in the State of Hawaii. In addition to being reliable, these systems must be economically viable and environmentally responsible.
- Determine the maximal stocking density for nursery production systems under advanced partial water reuse system technologies.
- Disseminate project findings through on-site working sessions and via a full written nursery protocol for industry dissemination.
