  1. Establishment of cell lines from Pacific threadfin (Moi) for use in the isolation and early detection of pathogenic viruses.
  2. Test frozen commodity shrimp for selected shrimp viruses.
  3. Investigate the relationship between commercially raised Moi and fatty livers through the use of on-farm surveys.
  4. To continue providing diagnostic support and pathogen testing and disease surveillance services to fish and shrimp farms and commercial hatcheries in Hawaii.
