- Establishment of cell lines from Pacific threadfin (Moi) for use in the isolation and early detection of pathogenic viruses.
- Test frozen commodity shrimp for selected shrimp viruses.
- Investigate the relationship between commercially raised Moi and fatty livers through the use of on-farm surveys.
- To continue providing diagnostic support and pathogen testing and disease surveillance services to fish and shrimp farms and commercial hatcheries in Hawaii.
