The overall objective of this project is to develop an expert system disease module, which is a computer software program that will help aquafarmers and extension personnel diagnose and manage diseases of tilapia cultured in Hawaii.
- Assemble information on diseases and husbandry for tilapia into computer-based Expert System Disease Module.
- Distribute the preliminary program to representative industry and research personnel for review and comment; modify the expert system based on the feed-back received.
- Finalize the expert system and distribute to the aquaculturists in Hawaii.
