The expansion of the aquaculture industry is a priority for Guam, and strong interest has been expressed in similar commercial development in the other islands of the Western Pacific. To aid this development the primary objectives are to:
- Produce seedstock to supply the aquaculture farms on Guam and the Western Pacific region
- Diversify the aquaculture products available to the domestic markets within the region.
