The expansion of the aquaculture industry is a priority for Guam, and strong interest has been expressed in similar commercial development in the other islands of the Western Pacific. To aid this development, the primary objectives are to:
- Produce seed stock to supply the aquaculture farms on Guam and in the Western Pacific region.
- Diversify the aquaculture projects available to the domestic markets within the region.
