  1. Evaluate current shrimp health management practices in the region by conductingbiosecurity audits of all existing shrimp       farms, and identify the key risk factors.

  2. Set up farm-specific, bimonthly surveillance programs at two major shrimp farmingfacilities, one on Guam and the other on       Saipan, as models for other operations.

  3. Promote awareness of biosecurity in the region via various means of education, and prepare and distribute a comprehensive       summary report to aquaculture stakeholders andcorresponding government agencies.
