- Produce a position paper summarizing the current status of Hawaii’s freshwater ornamental fish industry.
- Field test the artificial insemination technique to increase efficiency in the commercial production of lyretail swordtails.
- Demonstrate the cost effectiveness of specialization in the production of freshwater ornamental fishes.
- Provide technical assistance in the form of workshops, verbal communication, written material and site visits.
