Overall Goals
To demonstrate the commercial viability of Nenue (Kyphosus vaigiensis) aquaculture, and to make it attainable to as many groups as possible by reducing uncertainty through identifying appropriate diets.

The specific objective of this project is to identify juvenile and grow-out diets that can optimize nenue growth and survival, yet which could also reduce costs to Pacific Island producers and increase food security by reducing the imported feed components in the diet.

Objectives
1. Identify the most appropriate juvenile diet for nenue, with inclusion of lower- cost, and more readily available feedstuffs (e.g. dried copra, dried Ulva, dried Gracilaria).
2. Identify the most appropriate grow-out diet for nenue, with greater or lesser inclusion of alternative feedstuffs (e.g. dried copra, dried Ulva, dried Gracilaria).
3. Technology Transfer – dissemination of results
