Overall Goals
To develop a state-of-the-art aquaponics/aquaculture prototype, conduct the overall cost/benefit analysis of the proposed prototype, and disseminate the findings to the stakeholders
Objectives
1. Develop an integrated NB–biochar aquaponic/aquaculture system and determine overall performance (9 mos. duration)
2. Conduct a technoeconomic analysis of the final prototype for economic feasibility and process scaleup (2 mos. duration)
3. Transfer technology, including scientific knowledge and technical experiences, to users (1 mo. duration)
