Overall Goals
To create a virtual aquaculture experience that allows individuals to experience various aspects of aquaculture as a profession without having to be physically present at an aquaculture facility.
Objectives
1. Develop a virtual reality workflow and platform for recording 3D 360 immersive video and conveying video through a VR experience.
2. Deploy an aquaculture virtual experience to a targeted outreach demographic group, in particular native Hawaiian and pacific islanders.
3. Evaluate and report on the value of a virtual reality experience centered on aquaculture in increasing the interest of the field as a future career path for young individuals.
